Description

LISNs have Limits: Line Impedance Stabilization Networks (LISNs) are workhorses for conducted emissions testing. However, they can’t handle every situation. When dealing with excessively high current flow, LISNs become unsuitable for accurate measurements.

High Impedance Probes Take Over: This is where high impedance voltage probes step in. These specialized tools comply with the requirements of CISPR 16-1-2 for conducted emissions testing, ensuring consistent and reliable results.

Safety First: Narda’s high impedance probes are meticulously designed with safety in mind. They incorporate a blocking capacitor that effectively isolates the measured signal from any AC supply voltage present on the line under test. This eliminates the risk of exposure to potentially hazardous voltages during testing.

Built for Reliability: These probes boast an impressive internal resistance exceeding 1500 ohms. This high resistance minimizes current draw from the device under test and ensures reliable operation across various testing scenarios.

Compatibility and Flexibility: Narda’s probes seamlessly integrate with a wide range of EMI receivers, including their own PMM-Narda receivers and other compatible RF receivers. This flexibility allows you to use the probes within your existing testing setup without needing additional equipment.
